Ok here we go. whew.
Today I discovered that a friend, despite being in a very busy and demanding job, started her own blog about her passion, fashion http://notjustaprettydress.blogspot.com (check it out). I read it through and found it absolutely brilliant despite the fact I am not particularly interested in the subject, and thought, why not trying myself?
I went through the usual insecurities and rejection paranoia (what if nobody follows me? or worse what if only my mum follows me? what if people start insulting me because of the crap I am writing?) which I fended off with the usual self lying (this is for me, I don't need anyone, mum I love you...) and then decided to give it a go.
Only I immediately realised have two/three passions not one (complications, complications)... videogames and sports more specifically football (the english version) and basketball. Bit boring, bit geeky perhaps, but that what it is, like it or not.
I am not trying to bore anyone to death with the first post, I think you just need a little bit of background for fully appreciate the meaning of this blog, right? Very much like text books at school that before getting into the subject brag on for two chapters trying to contextualise what they are talking about, failing miserably. Totally useless if you ask me, get to the point, man!
Where was I? Oh yes, Videogames, Football and Basketball... Let'see what happens, see you next time.
